Dec 9 - 6:30 pm.. Celebration of Santa Nicola /St Nicholas.....Dec 6 actually begins the solemn Christmas season in Italy being the feast of St Nicholas. So on Saturday December 9 the Chateau D'Italia will be serving a 7 course Calabrese (Southern Italian) Christmas feast in honor of St. Nick, saint of giving and of children, featuring their delectable marinara oil and crusty Italian bread, , hearty minestrone soup, mozzarella panini, pasta with marinara sauce , Calabrese meatballs, spicy homemade sausage (this we wait all year for!!) and lemoncello cake. All guests are given a take home box of homemade biscotti. BYOB of favorite wine. Everyone who brings a wrapped gift for a child will receive a free soft drink with their meal and $2 off their next meal at the Chateau. All gifts will be donated to the City Mission. The Chateau would like to share this lovely and delicious tradition on Saturday Dec. 19`serving a special meal featuring shrimp cocktail,crab panini, cioppino (fish stew in a rich tomato sauce), braised baccala (salt cod) and potatoes, linguine with clams and Toni' Pumpkin Tiramisu for dessert.
